There are no strict rules when you’re building a personal brand. But if there’s one thing I’d tell you: show up like YOU.
I grew up with a very Eastern European mentality: work hard, build quietly, don’t talk too much about your money or accomplishments (evil eye and jealousy 😅👀) . And honestly, part of me is still like that 🫣
But building a personal brand taught me something I’m still learning: visibility isn’t bragging.
Sometimes you have to let people see what you’ve built, what you know, what you’re capable of, otherwise, how are they supposed to know?
And I think there are a lot of women like me learning to get more comfortable with being seen.
Just don’t confuse visibility with copying whatever gets another creator attention.
The Rolls, the Porsche, the first-class B-roll might get views. But people stay for your personality, stories, values, opinions and the way you see the world.
So maybe the question isn’t “What should I post?”
It’s “What do I want to be known for?”...
