A driver who hit and killed a pedestrian on a sidewalk in Northern Virginia less than three months ago had his case dismissed Thursday after pleading guilty to a misdemeanor and completing 20 hours of community service.⁠ ⁠ On June 18, the driver of a Prius jumped the curb of a Leesburg Pike service road near Seven Corners and fatally hit Sean King. He was 38 years old.⁠ ⁠ King’s girlfriend, Sophia Romero, told News4 he was walking home from work.⁠ ⁠ Mustafa Eltayeb, 43, stayed at the scene and was charged with reckless driving that endangered a person's life.
