It's been a full week since Antoinette Forbes was last seen near her home in Northwest D.C.
The investigation into Forbes' disappearance appeared to have intensified in the last couple of days as investigators could be seen going in and out of her home, taking photos and canvassing her car.
Forbes' friends and family said she's a mother who has lived in the D.C. area for more than 30 years.
Her sister had this direct message for Forbes:
“Do not lose hope. We are going to find you. Just keep the faith, keep the faith. You’re going to come home,” Aileen Forbes said.
A vigil will be held Saturday night as a show of strength, love and hope for her safe return, her family said.
