Yesterday neighbors across Chapman Woods gathered together for a warm community pancake breakfast, bringing families and local residents out to share a morning meal. Deputy Nelsen joined the gathering to lead a key Community Outreach effort, meeting directly with parents to share practical neighborhood safety tips. Deputy Nelsen also handed out child safety print cards, giving local youth an approachable, hands-on way to learn about staying safe while building positive connections with law enforcement. Deputy Nelsen’s friendly presence turned a simple neighborhood breakfast into a meaningful morning of fellowship, reinforcing Temple Station's dedication to child safety and a strong, connected community. #communityoutreach #community #lasd #TempleStation
