good:am by mac miller came out 11 years ago today 🕊️💿 good:am has arguably the most sad mac song released 'perfect circle/god speed' which is one of the many tracks to predict his u timely passing but at the same time it has countless anthemic and upbeat songs all around it, including 'brand name,' '100 grand kids,' and more all in all good:am felt like a perfect intersection of the slower and more melancholy music that took the forefront for mac on swimming and circles, mixed with the more carefree energy of kids or best day ever that was seen in his earlier work of course so much of his music has always had a bit of light and dark, but good:am always stood out to me for that reason anyway — but i would love to hear your thoughts on the project + your favorite song below 🫂⬇️ #macmiller #goodam
