Miracle Mile, Los Angeles. To me, this is much more than just the neighborhood where my art studio is. Surrounded by museums, galleries, architecture, and art, this is where I work, paint, experiment, and create. It is also where my journey as an artist began. This is where I began to find my own visual language, created my first bodies of work, and started building the world that is now becoming Mari V. Fallat. And somewhere along the way, I fell in love again… with Los Angeles. There is something deeply meaningful about watching this neighborhood continue to change and evolve while I change and evolve with it. This is where it all began.
