As a writer and a sports enthusiast, I pride myself on taking predictions seriously. After NC State’s disappointing performance against Virginia in Week 0, I’ve reflected on my bold prediction and come back to Earth. I said in my prediction that if head coach Dave Doeren wanted to get to his coveted goal of 10 wins, he would certainly have to beat Virginia and other competitive teams like Louisville and Florida State. Now, I'm unsure that his goal is attainable. The season is pressing on, and there are still games to analyze and preview, but I have gone back on my previous prediction. Here’s where I stand now.
