This is a post I really wish I didn’t have to write. Prophet and I will not be travelling to Finland to represent Canada at the Agility World Championships this year. Unfortunately, after returning home from the Canadian Open two weeks ago, my dogs came down with kennel cough. The decision to withdraw wasn’t a difficult one. The right decision was very clear, but that doesn’t make it any less disappointing. Prophet will now enter his 8 weeks off of agility training earlier than planned this year and I will start my planning for how we come back even stronger for next year’s Canadian World Team try outs.
