55 years ago today, a crew of activists set sail for a nuclear test zone. And Greenpeace was born.⁣ ⁣ We mark this anniversary by reflecting on how the campaigns, victories, direct actions, community spirit, challenges and lessons learned have prepared us for the urgencies we all face today.⁣ ⁣ Thank you to all who started this organisation by dreaming that a better future is possible. Thank you to all who ever contributed to our mission: activists, volunteers, crews, team members and supporters of all kinds 💚⁣ ⁣ Thank YOU for being a part of this incredible movement, and continuing to push for a greener and more peaceful future TOGETHER.⁣ ⁣ You and our beautiful planet inspire us every day and…⁣ ⁣ We're ready for the next 55! ✊🌍🤩⁣ ⁣ #PeoplePower⁣ ⁣
