As the climate crisis gets worse, we’re facing more devastating extreme weather events while fossil gas companies are getting richer. Yesterday, Greenpeace Thailand greenpeaceth activists hung a banner reading “Your Gas Deal, Our Loss.” at Gastech 2026, Bangkok Thailand, together with 200 community members directly affected by the expansion of the gas industry. These gas deals mean more profit for gas companies—but for many communities, it means pollution, climate impacts, and lost livelihoods. We call for a just energy transition.
