Carolina Herrera partners with The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts to present Andy Warhol’s portrait of Mrs. Herrera. Licensed for the first time, the image appears throughout the Spring 27 collection on select bespoke pieces, including an embroidered mini dress and the Jacqueline bag.
The portrait recalls the friendship between Warhol and Mrs. Herrera and the creative world they shared in New York. After photographing her in a series of Polaroids, Warhol created the portrait that Mrs. Herrera acquired in exchange for a Van Cleef & Arpels bag gifted to her by her husband.
The collaboration also supports The Andy Warhol Foundation’s ongoing work to advance the visual arts.
