45 years of Herrera. Carolina Herrera met Andy Warhol in the late 1970s, before launching her fashion house. Warhol later photographed Mrs. Herrera in a series of sixty Polaroids, selecting a frontal pose defined by her signature Gibson roll, red lips and emerald earrings.
