Ms. Ramana’s Aerospace Engineering class recently visited Windy City Soaring Association at Hinckley Airport for a hands-on look at aviation. Students explored gliders, the forces of flight, aircraft controls, soaring, and airport operations. They also learned about aviation careers through conversations with a commercial pilot and an air traffic controller.
