Meet Uju. 💖 After facing a brain tumour, Uju was more than ready for something that made her feel confident, celebrated, and like herself again. So alongside her treatment, her doctors prescribed one very special thing: a personalized shopping experience. 🛍️✨Her wish gave her a day to explore her favourite stores, try new things, pick out new looks, and simply enjoy being a teenager. For a little while, the focus wasn’t on appointments or treatment. It was on Uju. But this wish wasn’t just about what she got to take home. It was about how she felt when she walked out the door: confident, celebrated, and ready for whatever came next. And Uju’s story didn’t end there. Today, she’s helping shape what’s next for other wish kids as a member of STARboard, Make-A-Wish Canada’s Youth Advisory Board.
