🤝 What happens when we start showing up for each other? filmgatemiami and wemetinmiami invite you to We Met at FilmGate Miami: Join or Die Fair—an afternoon exploring connection, community, and what it means to get involved. 🌴✨ 🎬 We’ll be screening the acclaimed documentary Join or Die, following social scientist Robert Putnam and his decades-long research into America’s changing civic life and the decline of community connections. From “What makes democracy work?” to “What can we do about it?”, the film explores some big questions about how we connect with one another—and what happens when those connections disappear. After the screening, we’ll take the conversation off the screen and into the room with small-group discussions and a Joining Fair featuring local clubs and organizations. 💬🤝 📅 Sunday, October 4 | 2–6 PM 📍 Downtown Media Center 🔗RSVP: bit.ly/WMAFGM26 Come for the film.
