Neuralink has shared a deeply emotional moment from its ongoing brain implant trials. In the video, a participant uses his Neuralink implant to communicate “I love you” to his partner using his thoughts. He activates the system with a key press, thinks the words, and then confirms the message with another press. The Neuralink system translates the neural activity into spoken words using an AI-generated voice modeled after his own. Then comes the most touching part: her reaction. The moment she hears the words, her face lights up with happiness. It may seem like a simple interaction, but it highlights a much bigger possibility for brain-computer interfaces. Beyond moving a cursor or entering text, the technology could potentially give people who have lost their ability to speak another way to express the words that mean the most. Neuralink’s devices are still being investigated through clinical trials and have not been approved by the FDA. What do you think about this? 🤔💬 👉👉...
