Jake Hager underwent emergency eye surgery after Thursday’s Power Slap 23 in Lubbock, Texas. Hager lost to Johnny Magna by TKO after a slap left him bleeding from his left eye and the cageside doctor stopped the bout. “He hit me right in the eye,” Hager said as medical personnel came in. Dana White decided not to air a replay and told Nina Drama it was one of the worst injuries he’s seen in Power Slap or UFC, and that he’d do whatever it took to get Hager medical attention.
