Allez Agathe! 🙌 Agathe Guillemot leaves her mark on the streets of Copenhagen, claiming the first gold medal of the weekend at the World Road Running Championships, running 4:22.74 for a mile. Guillemot surged hard on the final stretch to overtake Freweyni Hailu, leaving the Ethiopian with a second-consecutive silver medal. Guillemot closes out a long and successful season that started with a mixed relay silver medal at the World Cross Country Championships back in January and featured fourth-place finishes over 1500m at both World Indoors and the European Championships. 📸 kevmofoto
