Miu Miu announces its presence as ArtBasel Paris Public Program Official Partner by presenting “Geste de Consolation” (Gesture of Consolation), a major project conceived by French filmmaker Alice Diop. Marking Diop’s very first foray into exhibition-making, the project extends her cinematic vision beyond the screen into a multimedia scenography - bringing together film, photography, sculpture, poetry, dance, music, and performance as a celebratory chorus of Black creativity aimed at repairing historical representations. The project will be staged at Palais D’Iéna, in Paris, as part of Art Basel Paris’ Public Program. Free admission. Open to the public from October 21st until October 25th 2026.
