Mmk, so today was one of those days where I unequivocally did not want to run. I woke up this morning to an April blizzard, thus causing a change to our original workout plans. One of my “secrets” to training is always working out at the same time. It trains your body to know when to push hard. It becomes routine and your body is put on autopilot. Soooo, I was automatically annoyed to find out we would not only have to work out on the treadmill, but that I had to work out 3 hours later than I normally would. Ughhh pissy pissy pissy. That was my mood showing up to the run. But do you know what I did when it came time to do the actual workout? I sucked it up, put on my positivity britches and got it done. Not only that but I crushed it. Once I let go of my emotions, my body was able to take over. The further I got into my run, the lighter my body and mind became.
