It’s called Labor Intensity Interval Training (LIIT), developed by the good people at pronatalfitness . It uses intervals during prenatal workouts to prepare for the work-recover-repeat rhythm of labor. During each effort, you challenge your body with pregnancy-appropriate exercises and bring your heart rate up. During recovery, the focus shifts to breathing and resetting. Together, these skills helped me manage the contractions and pushing better. Did LIIT make labor easy? Absolutely not. 😂 But it gave me familiar tools to lean on when things got hard. Birth will always have its unknowns, but if nothing else… I got a pretty good workout in along the way. 😅 As a prenatal & postpartum fitness coach, I use strategies like this to help women feel more physically and mentally prepared for pregnancy, birth and beyond. If you wanna learn more about LIIT and how to incorporate it into your prenatal training? DM me “LIIT” and let’s chat. 🤍 #prenatal #birthprep #pregnancyfitness #prenat...
