The 6th Annual Wheels for Wheels FrumpFest adaptive skate contest brought 7 adaptive skaters from across the country to Connecticut for a day of adaptive skateboarding, community, and inspiration. Raising awareness that blind and disabled skaters exist is one of my favorite things to do. It’s more than just a contest to me it’s about coming together and learning that even though it feels like we’re all alone at times there are so many people who live with things that make it difficult to do things the way it seems everyone else is doing it. We always find a way and skateboarding is a great example to just get up and send it no matter what you’re doing literally even if your thing is sewing or like making your bed you gotta do something and that’s what keeps you going #adaptivesports #skateboard #inclusion #inspire #motivate
