In case you missed it, we now have four compost bins at the Harrisonburg Recycling Convenience Center for residents to drop off compostable items! The City of Harrisonburg recently partnered with Black Bear Composting for a pilot program to collect food scraps to reduce waste going to the landfill. You can bring approved items anytime the Harrisonburg Recycling Convenience Center is open. Learn more about what you can place in the bins harrisonburgva.gov/EAP#WasteReduction
