With each twist and turn, hand rattles and the chachayotes sound off and vibrate the air around. The headdresses and feathers flaunt their colors on the bright sunny day and bend with the wind. Different families have different feathers for various representations. The patterns on the regalia are mesmerizing and breathtaking. Each color and pattern represent different things and are added for various reasons. But every detail has a purpose, just like every step, stomp, and turn in the dance.
