The Great British Beach Clean is back! Bringing local communities together to protect our coastlines and marine life. 🌊 Organised by the Marine Conservation Society, hundreds of beaches across the UK are being cleaned by thousands of volunteers from 18-27 September. Any litter collected on the beaches helps to improve data and conservation work to make a positive impact on our ocean, including banning microplastics in personal care products, supporting a tax on single-use plastic items, and much more thanks to their work.
