Some artists use fire as a special effect. Luca Ponsato uses it as a confession. Across his work, flame becomes a stand-in for whatever can't be said out loud: grief, anger, love, transformation. It's less about what's burning and more about what happens around it, the distance between an internal collapse and how composed everything else looks from the outside. Ponsato builds these images from a place between code and intuition, pulling from psychology, cinema, and dreams. The result isn't narrative so much as atmosphere: scenes that feel like fragments of memory you can't quite place.
