La Vecina just opened up in Plaza Midwood and the food and the drinks both delivered. The ribeye taco is the best steak taco I have had in Charlotte. I said what I said. The al pastor is shaved on site and served on homemade tortillas, and it was great too. The empanadas are a must order, do not skip those. It is an open air spot with a wraparound patio and a walk up counter for tacos and drinks, from the same teams behind some of your favorite spots in Charlotte. They are mezcal and margarita heavy on the drink side so come thirsty.
