Before becoming a recording artist, Bea Miller was making her own iCarly-inspired show on Photo Booth. During a first-listen event for Mr. Peaked in High School at The Lighthouse Brooklyn, Miller recalled sitting with her best friend as a kid, pretending to be Carly and Sam and talking to an audience that didn’t actually exist. The memory came up as Miller, pioneering internet artist Molly Soda and creative director Justin Moran reflected on an earlier era of the internet, when tools like Photo Booth gave young people the freedom to document themselves and make their own little “shows” before content creation became what it is today.
