Every year, Mexicans remember the event a night before on September 15 with the traditional 'Grito de Independencia' (Cry of Independence) given by the president in turn. Every year, on September 16 takes place the Independence Day military parade in the streets of downtown Mexico City and important avenues like Paseo de la Reforma. | September 15-16, 2026 | 📷: manuelonvf, hector_ad_quintanar | #GettyImages #GettyImagesNews
