Some days you’re not procrastinating. You just don’t have the energy and the work is still there.
There’s a big difference between not wanting to study and genuinely being too tired to function. Most advice only deals with the first one.
Here are 5 things that actually work on those days 👇
1️⃣ THE CAFFEINE NAP:
Drink a coffee, immediately set a 20 minute alarm, lie down, get up the second it goes off.
👉Why it works: caffeine doesn’t give you energy, it blocks adenosine, the chemical that builds up all day and makes you feel tired. Sleep is the only thing that actually clears adenosine out. So you nap while the caffeine is still travelling to your brain and wake up with less adenosine AND the caffeine arriving at once.
→ Not falling asleep is fine, resting with your eyes closed still clears it.
2️⃣ THE 5 MINUTE RULE:
Tell yourself you’re only doing 5 minutes. That’s the whole commitment.
→ Starting is usually the most hardest part. Once you’re in, you’ll almost always keep going.
