People really forget how deep Deron Williams’ bag was in his prime. 😮‍💨 The handle, change of pace, pull-up jumper, strength getting downhill, and ability to create for everybody around him made him one of the toughest point guards to deal with during that era. He could run an offense, get you a bucket when the possession broke down, and control the tempo without having to play at 100 mph all game. There was a stretch where D-Will was legitimately in the conversation with the very best point guards in basketball. His Utah years especially showed just how complete his game was — crafty in the pick-and-roll, comfortable from midrange, strong enough to finish through contact, and always capable of making the right read. When people talk about the deepest bags from point guards of that generation, Deron Williams deserves way more love. 🪣 Real hoops fans remember how cold D-Will was. 👀 #DeronWilliams #basketball #UtahJazz #NBA #sports
