In 2024, a Curlin colt out of the multiple Grade I winner Cavorting sold for $5,000,000 to top the Keeneland September Yearling Sale.
In 2025, Cavorting’s Gun Runner colt sold for $1.5 million.
This year, another standout from the star Stonestreet mare will go through the ring in Book 1 of Keeneland September…and he’s a full brother to the 2025 sale topper, Courting, along with multiple Grade I winner Clairiere.
The Curlin colt out of Cavorting (Hip 158) sells on the first day of the sale, Monday, Sept. 14, with Heartwood Farm.
Hear from Sarah Sutherland, partner and co-founder of Heartwood Farm, who launched the farm alongside Juan Aguilar in April 2026 after taking over from the Indian Creek operation which she managed for 17 years.
Could we have another sale topper? 👀
