One of the most unique experiences in Pieniny: traditional wooden rafting through the Dunajec Gorge, right along the Polish–Slovak border. The tradition of rafting here goes back centuries, while tourist rafting has been part of the Pieniny experience since the 19th century. Today, you can simply sit back while the local raftsmen guide you through the gorge, surrounded by dramatic limestone cliffs and mountain scenery. 🇵🇱 From the Polish side: the main rafting marina is in Sromowce Wyżne–Kąty. The trip takes around 2–3 hours and finishes around Szczawnica or Krościenko. 🇸🇰 From the Slovak side: you can start in Červený Kláštor, with the route continuing through the spectacular Dunajec Gorge towards Lesnica.
