Georgia Tech celebrated the completion of George Tower | Scheller Tower with a ceremonial ribbon cutting. The 18- and 14-floor Towers are the newest addition to Midtown Atlanta’s skyline. 🏙️ The state-of-the-art building uses an all-electric design — resulting in usage of 75% less energy than comparable facilities. It is designed to collect rainwater that makes up 70% of the water usage of the building. Intended to maximize daylight, the specialized glazing of the windows also helps reduce bird collisions.
