I've been to New York City often over the past 5 years, but this past June, I finally was able to visit the 911memorial. I was only 12 years old, in 8th grade and I was looking forward to my 13th birthday in three days when the attacks happened. I was in Mr. Lang's classroom when we all became glued to the television. While I did not know anyone directly affected in 2001, I have met people who had family members that gave ultimate sacrifice to help others. #911memorial #911museum #neverforget #nyc
