A 52-year-old Yuma man is accused of murdering a 15-year-old girl who had been reported missing from San Luis before she was found deceased in June. Diana Lucia Valle Walle, 15, was found in Yuma on June 1. Her family was notified of her identification two days later. Investigators have still not publicly disclosed how she passed away. Investigators identified Mark Alan Spadt, 52, as a person of interest early in the case. Authorities later said he was one of the last known people to have been in communication with Diana. Spadt was arrested on August 13 with assistance from the U.S. Marshals Service and U.S. Border Patrol. He was booked on one count of first-degree murder, two counts of sexual conduct with a minor, custodial interference and evidence tampering. His bond was set at $1 million.
