A New Mexico corrections officer came to Phoenix for a concert and allegedly ended the night by stealing an ambulance, crashing it, then passing out in traffic. Police say Grace Vicente, 24, was in Phoenix for the Good Charlotte and Avenged Sevenfold concert at Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre when she allegedly took a Phoenix Fire ambulance while paramedics were outside grabbing a gurney. Investigators say Vicente drove off, hit a pickup truck, crashed into a wall, and continued driving before eventually stopping in traffic less than two miles away. When officers caught up with her, police say she was passed out behind the wheel. Court documents say Vicente later admitted she had been drinking and told investigators she blacked out and did not remember taking the ambulance. Vicente is a sergeant with the New Mexico Corrections Department. She was arrested on several charges, including theft of means of transportation and DUI-related offenses.
