A newly unveiled Charlie Kirk statue in Phoenix was vandalized just days after being installed. Phoenix police say two suspects targeted the 8-foot statue just before 1 a.m. Sunday, covering parts of it in red spray paint. A nearby memorial poster was also vandalized, and police say the suspects attempted to set the poster on fire before leaving. The statue had been installed Thursday at Turning Point USA’s Phoenix headquarters near 48th Street and Baseline Road to mark the one-year anniversary of Kirk’s passing. No arrests have been made, and police have not released a description of the suspects. Turning Point USA says it plans to repair the statue, replace the damaged signs and is reviewing footage while working with law enforcement to identify those responsible.
