Congratulations to Lucas Ward (Deerfield Academy/Evolve) on his recent commitment to the University of Virginia! Ward is our 6th commit in the 2028 class and we couldn’t be more excited for him and this ACC opportunity. Lucas is lightning in a bottle, simply an electric factory on the field, whether he’s in the cage or making a play outside of it. Recently named the #2 Goalie in the class, #30 overall, and a unanimous 4 Star player. He’s good making all kinds of saves from outside or in tight, he’s got a confidence about him that allows our defense to play faster and more freely when he’s in the crease. He’s also exceptional in the clear using his vision and his legs to create transition. Congratulations to Lucas and the entire Ward family. Go Hoos! #3don2 #3dCommitted
