Stop hiding. That was never God’s idea — it was Satan’s.
In the garden, after Adam and Eve transgressed, it is the adversary who plants the shame that makes them run and hide from the Lord. But look at what God actually does: He comes looking for them. He calls out to them. He covers them. He reasons with them — “Come now, and let us reason together” (Isaiah 1:18).
The Lord is not waiting to condemn you. He is approachable. He is loving. He is tender. He is reasonable.
The Book of Mormon teaches that the atonement of Jesus Christ is infinite — it reaches every sin, every sorrow, every person (Alma 34:10; 2 Nephi 9:7). There is no sin so scarlet that it cannot be made white as snow. There is no distance so far that He cannot reach you. The price has already been paid — in full — for you.
You don’t have to clean yourself up before you come to Him. Come as you are, and let Him do the cleansing.
He’s not hiding from you. Stop hiding from Him. 🤍
