📷 HEISMAN PORTRAIT OF THE WEEK: bakermayfield 💥 Few Heisman journeys were as unique as Baker Mayfield’s. He became ou_football's sixth Heisman Trophy winner after producing a historically efficient passing season, setting the NCAA passing efficiency record at the time. Mayfield is the first Heisman winner to begin his career as a walk-on since athletic scholarships were introduced. Across three seasons as Oklahoma’s starting quarterback, Mayfield finished in the top five of Heisman voting three times, placing him among rare company in college football history. His final season was his finest, throwing for 4,340 yards with 41 touchdowns and just five interceptions while leading the Sooners to a 12–1 record and a College Football Playoff appearance. #Heisman | #MoreThanATrophy
