Who you gonna call? 👻 Nearly 40 years later, you can still visit some of the most iconic NYC filming locations from the original Ghostbusters! 🚫👻 We retraced the 1984 classic through Manhattan, from the New York Public Library, where the Ghostbusters have their first paranormal encounter, to Columbia University, where Venkman, Ray and Egon worked before starting the business. Of course, we had to stop at Hook & Ladder 8 in Tribeca, which is the real-life firehouse used as Ghostbusters HQ, and Tavern on the Green, where Louis Tully desperately tries to escape the Terror Dog. And finally, 55 Central Park West: Dana Barrett’s apartment building, better known as “Spook Central,” and the setting for the movie’s legendary finale. 🏙️ The wildest part?
