Work hard, play hard! While our focus is in the classroom, we love spending time with our sponsored students when they're relaxing, playing, and expressing themselves. It is in these moments of recreation that we get to the witness the transformation in a sponsored student's personality and poise. Being sponsored with unfettered access to education provides a sense of purpose and direction for young people, leading to increased self-esteem and a sense of accomplishment. Attending school surrounded by peers also promotes more socializing and camaraderie, leading to a sense of belonging and improved mental health. All of this comes out when students are comfortable at home or with their friends, riding bikes, playing sports, jumping rope, dancing, or playing local games. As you can see, they exude confidence, flexibility, optimism, and joy. The size of their smiles and the sparkle in their eyes, gives us motivation every day to keep improving and scaling our education programs!...
