A #Texas judge awarded Jacobs $40.1 million in compensatory damages, including over $8 million for past medical expenses, pain and suffering, physical impairment, lost earning capacity and disfigurement, plus $32 million for future damages in those categories. Yaya was also ordered to pay $10 million in exemplary damages after the court found her conduct involved an “extreme degree of risk” and aggravated assault with a de-dly weapon.
