Injuries followed him for his entire competitive career, and that failure became the specialty he built a business on: getting injury-prone lifters back onto the platform. In fourteen years of coaching he has worked with first-time competitors, masters lifters past seventy, strongman national champions, and in 2023 the top drug-tested female powerlifter in the world. His athletes have won four IPF world titles, an IPF World Champion of Champions title, twelve national championships and a strongman national title, and two have competed at the Sheffield Powerlifting Championships.
