The Dons are going to the ‘ship! After an absolute nail biter, Brandon Singleton won it all in the shootout, 11-10. Chicago showed up ready to play, so it was a close game till the very end! Chicago was up by 1 point, man up with about 30 seconds left. Kyle Hebert (goalie) made an incredible out-of-the-goal play to turn the ball over, and get the ball down field where the Dons called a timeout with 13 seconds left. With ice in his veins, Kevin Eskridge hit the buzzer beater to tie it up! It went to a shootout between both teams top shooters. They got an early goal and their goalie made two saves, but Sam Heaton came in with the clutch goal to keep it going. It went to the 5th shooter, when Brandon Singleton put the team on his back, and scored the game winning goal! What an incredible game! Thanks to all the fans that came out; it was a great turn out and we couldn’t have done it without you all cheering us on in the stands.
