Juan Soto might never experience a moment like this again. Game 5 of the ALCS, top of the 10th, two outs, and the AL pennant on the line. Soto battles through a seven-pitch at-bat before launching a go-ahead three-run homer. The pressure, the crowd, and Soto staring into the Yankees dugout made it an instant October classic. He finished that ALCS hitting .368 with three home runs, helping send the Yankees to the World Series. Now with the Mets, moments like this feel even further away. The Mets have already been eliminated from the 2026 playoffs, meaning Soto will miss October baseball again. You can sign the massive contract, but you can’t guarantee another stage like this. - follow ( slugger.report ) for insane baseball content - #baseball #mlb #baseballplays #juansoto #nyyankees
