15 Endeavor Entrepreneur families came to Menorca to mentor each other’s kids through building their first companies.
Last month marked our first-ever Next-Gen Retreat: entrepreneur families and their kids, ages 8 to 18, traveling in from Argentina, USA, Colombia, Ecuador, Japan, Morocco, Spain, Türkiye, and Ukraine, hosted by Nina and Martin Varsavsky and their family.
For three days, the children stepped into the world of entrepreneurship: identifying real problems, developing solutions, building prototypes and business plans, pitching their ideas, and even raising fictional investment capital (the “Menorcoins”).
By design, no parent mentored their own child. Every founder in the room coached and challenged someone else’s kids, sharing perspectives and encouraging them to think bigger. On the final morning, we sat in a circle and the parents named one thing they had learned from their kids.
Turns out the Multiplier Effect works at any age.
