One light can do a LOT more than you might think! In this live session, photographer Gavin Hoey is going to see just how many different portrait looks he can create using a single light, one model and a little creative thinking. Working with Charlotte, Gavin will start with a simple portrait setup and then experiment with light position, shadows, patterns, backgrounds, colour and styling to create three very different images. Along the way, there'll be plenty of real world tips on shaping and controlling light, changing the mood of a portrait and getting more from a single light. Plus a few experiments that may work brilliantly… and some that might not! The goal is simple: one light, three portraits, and as much creative exploration as possible in an hour.
