There’s a weird stage of life nobody really prepares you for.
You’re old enough that people expect you to have things figured out.
But young enough that you’re quietly figuring it out still.
Then add being a dad.
You’re trying to raise good kids, be a good husband, provide for your family, stay healthy, plan for the future, and somehow still have enough of yourself left over to actually enjoy the life you’re working so hard to build.
And somewhere along the way, time starts moving ridiculously fast.
The kids get older. Your parents get older. You get older.
And you start realizing that “someday” probably isn’t a good enough plan.
That’s been a big shift in how I think about life lately.
I don’t just want to provide for my family.
I want enough freedom to actually be there to enjoy life with them.
I don’t want to wake up 20 years from now wishing I made more time for the people who matter most.
If you’re a dad trying to figure this stage out too, follow along.
I’m determined...
